ABOUT THE POSITION

Anderssons Byggnadsekonomi is a specialist company in the calculation industry that offers cost estimates and related services at all stages and for all disciplines within construction, civil engineering, and installations. Since its inception in 2016, they have steadily grown and now prepare calculations for clients across the country, both for clients and contractors. Here, you will be welcomed into newly renovated premises in Behrn Center in central Örebro, with a lot of expertise behind the walls. Due to an increased demand from customers, they now need to expand the team, where we are looking for several cost engineers to be based either in Stockholm or Örebro who want to be part of the growth journey!

As a cost engineer, you will calculate costs for various construction projects throughout Sweden. You will work on analyzing documentation, creating detailed calculations, and contributing to securing successful bids and deals. You will be involved in the entire process from analysis to finished documentation for the client. You will always have the support of the company's calculation manager, who, with more than 25 years of experience, handles and quality assures all projects while continuously training you in cost estimation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The company prepares cost estimates within construction, civil engineering, and installations, and in the role of cost engineer, you will therefore work across all disciplines.

• Analyze architectural documents, descriptions, and drawings from clients to convert them into detailed cost estimates
• Analyze project documentation to identify quantities and specific requirements for building elements
• Calculate material and labor costs for various construction projects

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Holds a post-secondary education as a civil engineer or another orientation deemed equivalent
• Has a clear interest in cost estimation work and wants to develop in the field, or you already have experience in the industry
• Is fluent in the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Has a B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have:

• Previous experience working with the systems Bluebeam, Bidcon, and Sektionsdata
• Previous experience working with cost estimation
